The Process
Preheat
I love sweets and baking! I’m an altruistic stylish, academic, social, entrepreneurial foodie that is eco-savvy, charitable, athletic (outdoorsy, adventurous) and creative. Better known as…the Chief Pampered Sweet Tooth {PST}, hostess extraordinaire and lover of all things aesthetically appealing, namely all things…BAKED! I am a self-taught baker, sweets and events stylist. Growing up surrounded by entrepreneurs, educators, and creativity fosters my unorthodox personality.
Bake
My personality is the perfect unorthodox mix of snob meets badass. Candid, resilient, kind, nerd, different, and bold are a few adjectives that family, friends, and industry peers use to describe my character. I LOVE MUSIC (from Donny Hathaway to Shania Twain) and Football (Atlanta Falcons) and Movies (cried when Doby died) and Learning (nerd down to my specs) and Baking (hence this whole blog and my business) and Talking (judging by this bio’s length, it obvious) and Laughing (boisterously) and Gaming (you don’t want a piece of me in Taboo, Pokeno, Phase 10, or Scrabble).
Cool
I did not put all of my eggs in one batch of cheesecake. In layman’s terms, I did not pull by business from the crevices of my asparagus and YOU are more than welcomed to kiss that spot if you think so. There is more to me than just baking and planning. I am a formerly educated business owner with a B.A. in English from Albany State University (Go Rams!), a Master of Science in Business Organizational Leadership, a future Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) candidate, and currently a Doctoral student earning my Ed.D in leading sustainable organizations (of course the sweets industry is involved). I move forward strategically in taking actions toward WHAT I DREAM AND DESIRE! I’m an avid learner with a bold personality. My apologies, but…TOOT! TOOT! <—-That’ll be my horn. I have and continue to conduct extensive and empirical research on and in the sweets and ecopreneur industries. No dumb found business woman residing round here.
Refrigerate
There is more to me than just a springform pan, cream cheese, chocolate, and strawberries; and I will graciously admit that baking and blogging saves me a lot of time from having to sit in someone’s chair or lie on someone’s couch…just saying.
I am continuously building my Socially Conscious Entrepreneurial Empire’s (SCEE) umbrella one day, month, and year at a time. No need to fret, you will hear from me via blog, voice recognition on my Blog Talk Radio show Sustainably Sweet, recipes through a New York Times Best Selling series of books, print and web media features, and other entrepreneurial eco-savvy business ventures for years to come.
Consume
If you can relate to me and/or like what I am baking and sharing, feel free to let me know. From the core of who I am , I’m thankful for each reader of the blog and client to the sweets boutique. By all means stay tuned, read on, and visit often!
Sustainably yours in sweets,
~ San
